Yeah you can get government jobs after doing M.sc in Food and Nutrition as there are scope for you to join in jobs such as government hospitals, government’s health department, schools, colleges, factories and office cafeterias for planning nutritional regiment.

You can even do research and development and do research on various food items to ensure their quality and effects. The other option would be applying for the Food Inspector post by applying for the exam. There are eligibility conditions which are needed to be satisfied in order to apply and they are:

# Candidate should have a citizenship in India.

# Age limit needed is 18-25 years of age.

# The educational qualification needed is candidate need to have a degree in food, agriculture or pharmacy.

If you satisfy them all then you can apply for the Food inspector exam. Candidates are selected through:
