What is the qualification required to apply for IAS job? Which course is best and IAS qualified to opt for? Can you please give me the complete details on the same? Awaiting for a quick response on this. Please provide me the information soon. Thank you!

To apply for IAS exam, you must have done graduation in any stream.

It does not matter whether you have done B.Sc., B.Com, B.A. or B.Tech, you will be eligible for IAS Exam aka Civil Services Exam after pursuing these degree courses.

You will have to crack three stages to qualify Civil Services Exam.

• Preliminary Exam
• Main Exam
• Personal Interview

Let me tell you that you must be a graduation degree holder. You must have a degree from any of the recognized university in any discipline.
You can pursue from any of the subject in any stream. There is no any particular subject required for this as well as there is no restriction in subject selection.
You must have to score at least 50 percent in graduation to be eligible to apply for IAS.

1. Age - Minimum 21 Years
Maximum - 32 years (Recently changed from 30 to 32)
there are further relaxation as per the category of the candidate.

2. Nationality - Indian, Nepalese, Bhutani or migrants.

3. Education - Minimum Graduation in any subject or final year of graduation

Exam Pattern -

1. Preliminary Exam
2. Mains Exam
