what is the minimum marks to get through GATE exam in the branch of civil engineering?what is the possibility that i'll get a seat in any institute with the minimum mark?

GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

This entrance is held every year by Indian Institute of Technology for master's degree in technology/engineering.

Once you crack this exam with good rank, you can get admission in top institutes like IIT, NIT and other government and private engineering colleges.

Minimum marks is not fixed, every year the cut off marks for admission changes for different colleges. So it would be better if you try to score marks as high as possible, never think about scoring just minimum marks to qualify the GATE exam.

You must aim for good ranks for getting admission in IITs for master's degree in IIT. If you score good marks and your rank is well within 1000, you may even get shortlisted for recruitment process in different PSUs.
