Am I eligible to appear in Tamil Nadu Engineering Entrance exam if completed 10th in Canada and pursuing 12th in India?


Hello Sir,
I have done my 5 years studies in Abroad. I have completed my 10th in Canada. Right now I am pursuing my 12th in India in Tamil Nadu. I would like to know that I am eligible for State Engineering Entrance exam?

There is no entrance examination for the admission to the engineering courses in Tamilnadu. Admission to the BE / BTech courses are done through a counseling conducted by the Anna University. Candidates’ native to Tamilnadu but who have passed Class 8th to 12th in another state must apply with nativity certificate for the engineering counseling in Tamilnadu. Therefore, you have to submit a nativity certificate to apply for the engineering counseling in Tamilnadu. You should have scored at least 50% marks in PCM subjects in 10+2 examinations.
