Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University also called as JNTU is situated at the main part of the city of Hyderabad at Kukatpally. The university has got ‘A’ Grade authorization from National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It has been providing the best quality education for the past four decades and it brings spark of knowledge in the minds of youth. According to the approval of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature, the university was awarded the status of autonomous university from the 18th of August 2008.

Many of the students coming out of the different colleges of JNTU are well-placed in top-rated companies like Google, Yahoo, Birla Soft, TCS, Satyam, Infosys and Wipro and are well-paid as well.

Candidates are admitted to B. Tech course through ranks acquired in the statewide entrance examination called Engineering Agriculture Medicine Common Entrance Examination conducted by Andhra Pradesh state council for higher education. Admission to the post-graduate courses like MCA and MBA is made on the basis of marks secured by students in ICET Examination and admission to M. Tech course is made through GATE examination.
