The Institute was recently established under the NIT Act passed in the year 2007 and has its mentor Institute as NIT, Durgapur. The Campus of the Institute spreads over an area of 3.2 acres and is one of the largest campuses in NIT group. Courses Offered:

The Institute offers Under Graduate level degree in most of the engineering streams namely Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, and even PG Level courses such as MBA. The college is also planning to offer the course of MBA.

Admission Process:

The candidates that are interested in undertaking admission to the college have to appear for a written based Entrance Examination called AIEEE or All India Engineering Entrance Examination. The candidates are sonly registered for final admission sonly after a brief session of counseling is held.
