Structure of North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Zoology Entrance Exam

North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Zoology Entrance Exam will have 2 papers. First paper is common for all subject candidates and will consist of 50 multiple choice questions of research aptitude type. In this section each question carries 2 marks. There will be no negative marking. Paper II will be of subject specific kind. There will be objective type questions of 20 marks and descriptive type questions of 80 marks. In total, both the sections – Paper I and Paper II carries a maximum score of 100 marks each.

Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants those who have completed their post graduate degree in Zoology or allied subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized statutory University which is a member of AIU, New Delhi are eligible to apply for the North Maharashtra University Ph.D in Zoology Entrance Exam. The candidates in the final year of master’s degree programme are also eligible to apply for the same.

The candidates are required to fill the application form online and after online submission they should take the print out of the same. The hard copy of the application form along with required enclosures and DD of Rs. 500/- (Rs 350/- in case of reserved category candidates) drawn in favour of Registrar, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon payable at Jalgaon from any of the nationalized banks has to be sent to Director, Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD), North Maharashtra University, Umavi Nagar, Jalgaon-425001 on or before the last date.
