Delhi State Cancer Institute (DSCI) was established under the Government of India. The institute was founded as an independent and autonomous body by the Government of NCT of Delhi. the major idea behind the establishment of the institute was to provide comprehensive management facility with the latest techniques available for cancer patients. The institute stands amongst some of the best institutions in the country as well as at international level.
Job Profile:
Delhi State Cancer Institute is looking forward to recruit eligible and qualified candidates on the vacant positions of Nursing Officers (Staff Nurses). Applying candidates must be citizen of India only. Candidates are required to ensure their eligibility in advance for the specified posts.
Eligibility:
Applicants are required to strictly follow the eligibility conditions specially the Age Criteria set for the posts of Nursing Officers (Staff Nurses) in Delhi State Cancer Institute. Candidates found uneligible in any respect would not be considered for the specified position under ay circumstances. For being eligible for the specified post, candidates should have age more than the prescribed minimum age limit but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit. There may be relaxation in the upper age limit provided to the reserved categories candidates. Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided only as per the rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
The minimum educational qualification required to be possessed by the candidates for the posts of Nursing Officer in Delhi State Cancer Institute is B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institute or university. Candidates with Post Certificate B.S.c in Nursing or M.Sc. with Nursing qualification are also eligible for applying. Candidates with qualification less than the prescribed one, will not be considered eligible for applying in Delhi State Cancer Institute.

Posts available for OBC candidates: Only 30 posts are available.
Posts available for SC candidates: Only 12 posts are available.
Posts available for ST candidates: Only 1 post is available.
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be given the consolidated salary of Rs. 27081 for six months or till regular appointment.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 500 only. Application fee of Rs. 125 is need to be paid by the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes catgories. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Delhi STate Cancer Institute payable at Delhi.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the initial screening of their application form. Shortlisted candidates will then have to face a Written examination followed by a Personal Interview Test. Only qualified candidates of these two tests will be considered at the time of making final selections.
How to apply: Candidates are required to send the completely filled in application form in the prescribed format alongwith the copies of the certificates or testimonials in an envelope. The envelope should be superscribed with the name of the post applied for. The envelope should reach to the below mentioned address on or before the due date.
