Name of the position: Officer Scale I

Number of Vacancies: 92, which is divided as follows:

• SC: 19

• ST: 01

• OBC: 25

• General: 47

Period of Probation: Two years, which is extendable by one year

Pay Scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Officer Scale I, will get a pay scale of Rs.14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700 and other allowances as per the rules of the bank. Total Starting emoluments inclusive of HRA and DA at current rates would be Rs. 22685 per month approximately.

Eligibility:

Nationality: To apply for the position of Officer Scale I in Purvanchal Gramin Bank, candidates must be citizens of India and they should be domiciled in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Age requirement: For the position of Officer Scale I, candidates must be between the age group of 18 and 28 years of age to apply. In other words, they must have born between 31st March 1983 and 01st April 1993 (including both dates). Educational Qualification: To apply for the position of Officer Scale I, candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates with graduation in any of the fields like accountancy, economics, law, management, information technology, agricultural marketing & cooperation, pisciculture, agricultural engineering, veterinary science, animal husbandry, forestry, horticulture and agriculture.

Other qualification requirements: Candidates must be proficient in the local language with computer and English skill. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in computers.

Selection Procedure:

Selection process will include both written test and interview. All the candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirement, who have submitted the application before the last date will be called for written test, which will be conducted for 200 marks in total. Tentative date of written test is 07th of August 2011.
