Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology shortly called, as SLIET is an autonomous institution under Ministry Of Human Resource and Development (MHRD). The institution offers graduate, postgraduate, certificate and diploma courses in various technical areas. There exist only 30 seats for each of the certificate level courses offered by the institute. The National Institute of Homoeopathy came into existence in the year 1975 on the 10th of December and the institute is operating from the city of Kolkata as an autonomous organization under the control of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Indian Government. The institute is functioning with affiliation from the West Bengal University of Health Science and it is functioning from its own campus.

Roorkee Institute of Technology is shortly called as RIT and the institute offers technical education courses with affiliation from the Uttarakhand Technical University and with approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, the courses are also approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of Government of India.
The University of Burdwan was established in the year 1960 as a public university. The university is located at Bardhaman, West Bengal. The university was started off as a teaching and affiliating university under the Government of West bengal. Intially, the university started off with total six Graduate departments and thirty undergraduate colleges. At present, the university offers thirty graduate programmes. There are total 139 affiliated colleges associated with the university. Mr. Mayankote Kelath Narayanan is the Chancellor of the university while Mr. Debidas Chattoraj is the Vice Chancellor. Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) was established by the Central Government under the Employees’ State Insurance Act, 1948. The major objective behind the establishement of the corporation was to protect the interest of workers in problems like Sickeness, Maternity etc that results in the loss of wages or earning capacity of the workers. The major function performed by ESIC is to administer the scheme. The prescribed scheme was actually implemented in the year 1952 at Kanpur and Delhi. Indo Tibetan Border Police Force was incorporated in the year 1962 as an Indian Armed Force. Mr. Ranjit Sinha is the Director General of the force. The force is responsible for the security for the border of India with the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The force is mainly trained in the disaster management, chemical disasters etc. The foru major function of the force are checking illegal immigration, providing security to sensitive installations, preserving any area in the event of disturbance and promoting the sense of security among people. Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) was incorporated in the year 2003 on the 15th of September with certificate of business with effect from the 15th of October 2003 and the company began its commercial operations on the 1st of April 2005. The company feeds electricity to eight districts in the state of Gujarat namely Amreli, Surendranagar, Bhavanagar, Bhuj, Porbandar, Junagadh, Jamnagar and Rajkot covering 83 taluks in total.
