Dr. Shakuntala Misra Rehabilitation University is a renowned university which comes under the control of Government of India. The university works on its aim of providing accessible education to all the children with disabilities upto 18 years of age. The university provides a barrier free environment to the students. The university performs the research and development work for the innovatives causes of disabilities. There are no such institutions present in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Due to the lack of such institutions for children with disabilities, this Dr. Shakuntala Mishra Rehabilitation University was formed.
