PSGR Krishnammal College for Women was established in 1963 and has won the accreditation of NAAC as A Grade. The college was declared autonomous in the year 2004. Admission and Eligibility:

The candidates who have passed higher secondary examination from Tamilnadu Board or any other Universities are eligible for admission in all UG courses. Candidates belonging to other states should produce an eligibility certificate from Bharathiyar University. For admission to PG courses, candidates who have completed Bachelor Degree course from Bharathiyar University in the respective discipline are eligible for admission. For other state students they have to obtain an eligibility certificate from Bharathiyar University.

Facilities:

The college campus is built on excellent infrastructure in a green environment. The library has a huge collection of 50,000 volumes of books apart from journals and periodicals. The college hostel holds nearly 1000 students from various parts of Tamilnadu and other states. The students are guarded with strict vigilance and discipline.

Placement cell:

The placement cell provides various job opportunities and leadership training through organized programs. The organizations which offer appointment through on campus interviews include ABN Amro Bank, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Deutsche Bank, TCS, IBM, I-gate, Hexaware Technologies, Wipro and Allsec Technologies.
