Criteria and Weightages for admission:

Admission of students is done based on their performance in the Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Government of Orissa. To apply for this examination, candidates must have completed their higher secondary in science stream with mathematics as a subject. Eligibility criteria for admission through management quota is that candidates must have obtained first-class at their class 10 and class 12 examination with qualifying rank in AIEEE/OJEE examination.

Admission Procedure:

As mentioned earlier, admission of students to the different courses offered by the institute is done based on the performance of the students in the Orissa Joint Entrance Examination. Of the total number of seats available in the college for each of the courses, 70% of the seats are filled on this basis, while 15% of seats are filled through AIEEE counseling conducted by the Orissa Government. The remaining 15% of seats are management/NRI quota seats that are filled through counseling at the college level.

How to apply:

For candidates seeking admission through OJEE, application forms can be obtained upon notification issued by the Joint Entrance Examination committee of state of Orissa. On the other hand, candidates seeking admission through management/NRI quota will have to apply to the institute.
