Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital is located at Shashtri Park, Delhi. The hospital was established under the administrative control of Government of NCT of Delhi. The hospital is a general secondary level hospital with the objective of providing minimum free basic health care services ro the people. The hospital has a sanctioned bed strength of 200 beds. The OPD services in the hospital was started in the year 2003. The hospital also provides diagnostic services such as X-Ray, ECG, Ultrasound and Laboratory. At present, the hospital provides four bedded emergency services for treating and monitoring the sick patients.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the vacant posts of Senior Residents and Junior Residents in Jag Pravesh Chandra Hospital. The posts of Senior Residents are available in the disciplines of Medicine, Orthopedics, Anesthesia, Radiology, Surgery, Paediatrics and Obs. & Gynae. The posts of Junior Residents are available in the disciplines of MBBS and Dental.

Eligibility:

The maximum age limit set for the posts of Senior Residents is 35 years as on the closing date of submission of application.

The maximum age limit set for the posts of Junior Residents is 30 years as on the closing date of submission of application.

Relaxation in the maximum age limit will be provided to the reserved categories candidates as per the rules of Government of NCT of Delhi. SC/ST candidates will be provided the relaxation of 5 years in upper age limit while OBC candidates will get relaxation of 3 years in the maximum age limit.

Educational Qualification:

Senior Residents: MBBS degree with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned disciplines from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have a valid registration with Delhi Medical Council. Candidates are required to have completed minimum three years Senior Residency in any recognized institute.

Junior Residents: MBBS or BDS in the concerned disciplines from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have a valid registration with Delhi Medical Council or Delhi Dental Council. Candidates are required to have completed minimum one year Junior Residency in any recognized institute.

No. of posts: Total 58 posts are available.

Senior Residency: Total 30 posts are available.
(Medicine-3, Orthopedics-2, Anesthesia-10, Radiology-3, Surgery-3, Paediatrics-6 and Obs. & Gynae3)

Junior Residency: Total 28 posts are available.
(MBBS-27 and Dental-1)

Pay Scale:

Senior Residency: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Junior Residency: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

Application Fee:

An application fee of Rs. 200 is need to be submitted by General and OBC candidates. The application fee must be paid in the form of a Demand Draft or Pay Order drawn in favour of Medical Superintendent, Shashtri Park Hospital, payable at Delhi. No fee is to be paid by SC/ST candidates.
