Shahada Taluka Co.op. Education Society’s Science Senior College, Nandurbar is situated at Shahada taluk of Nandurbar district. It was established on 10 July, 2001 for the academic year of 2001 – 2002. Behind laying the foundation stone for the college was the farsightedness of the great visionary late Fakirabhai Patil.  The college provides degree in science stream under various branches.

Courses offered:

Shahada Taluka Co.op. Education Society’s Science Senior College offers B.SC specialization in 3 different fields like microbiology, biotechnology and computer science. The medium of education is English. The courses offered by the college have the approval of north Maharashtra University. Biotechnology has been introduced recently to the college.

Admissions:

Admissions are strictly on merit basis as per the rules laid by the North Maharashtra University and also by the state government. During the time of admission the candidate should fill and submit the duly filled form. Any incompleteness in the form will not be entertained. All the necessary certificates should be produced at the time of admissions itself. The original mark sheet needs to be produced during the admission time no photocopies will be taken.

Eligibility:

Candidate having a high school pass certificate with English and any three of the following subjects can apply for the B.Sc degree courses out here in the college. The subjects other than English needed for the admission are:

i) Physics

ii) Chemistry

iii) Biology

iv) Mathematics

v) Geography

For admissions to B.Sc computer science one has to have maths as one of the subjects during his high school education.

Facility:

The College has massive library facilities. It has around 3000 books apart from the journals subscribed yearly. Around 10 journals are subscribed yearly. The library has the capacity to accommodate 50 students. The library remains open till evening 5. During the exam time the reading room is left open till 11 pm for the students.

Apart from the library facilities other facilities which are provided to the student are:
