Shri Swami Naga Ji Balika Degree College is offering courses in the faculties of Arts and Education with affiliation from Bundelkhand University. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education to offer Teacher Education course. The college is managed by a society, which is registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The college came into existence in the year 2001 with the objective of offering qualitative education to the underdeveloped and rural areas belonging to the Harimpur District.

For both arts and education stream courses the college has earned permanent affiliation from the Bundelkhand University with an approved intake capacity of 316 and 100 students respectively for each year.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Bachelor of Arts courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary education in arts stream from an approved board of education. As far as eligibility for B. Ed course is concerned, candidates must have completed their UG/PG degree in any stream of education with not less than 45% of marks. The required percentage of marks is relaxed up to 5% for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to Bachelor of Arts courses is done based on the norms issued by affiliating university from time to time and admission to Bachelor of Education course is done based on counseling. The reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be made for both courses as per the rules issued by the state government.

Academic Session & Fee Structure:

Shri Swami Naga Ji Balika Degree College collects fee as per the rules & regulations and norms issued by the state Government of Uttar Pradesh. The academic session will include 200 working days exclusive of the period of admission, examination, etc… and out of these 200 days, 40 days will be meant for practice and teaching for Bachelor of Education students in about ten senior secondary/secondary/primary schools. A working day indicated six hours per day in a six-day week.

College Library:

Shri Swami Naga Ji Balika Degree College maintains a library with a collection of more than 4000 books pertaining to Bachelor of Education students and nearly 3500 books for Bachelor of Arts students.
