The Rajasthan Pre Medical Test is an entrance exam that is conducted for the admission of students into the courses like

• MBBS
• BVSC
• BDS
• AH

Students who excel in this exam will be given admission to medical dental and veterinary hospitals in Rajasthan. This exam is conducted by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences.

Students who are appearing for this exam must have a pass in their higher secondary examination with above 55 percent marks.  Students must have a good background in the science stream. Those who are going to sit for their finals are eligible to apply too.

Structure of the Exam

The examination will have two papers with a time period of 2 hours each. The maximum marks for each paper is 100 marks. The questions that are asked will be of the objective type. The students can select the right answer from the options given to them. The division of the papers is as follows:

• Paper I - Physics and Chemistry Subjects
• Paper II - Botany and Zoology Subjects

For every correct answer, 3 marks is awarded and for every wrong answer there will be negative marking.

Study Plan for the Exam

The candidate should practice on mock tests and sample question papers. NCERT exam guide are available for all these subjects. Apart from this, students can also surf the internet and find question pattern and more information regarding the syllabus. It will also be a great help for the students if they go through their standard 10+2 Science notes. Studying from the guide will be useful but it won’t be as handy as the notes because the students will be more familiar with them.
