Paper Pattern:

Questions asked in the paper are of both objective and subjective type. Question asked are divided into 2 sections, Section A is of objective type and contains 20 objective based questions. Section B is of subjective section and contains 4 long answer type questions. Each question is divided into sub-questions further. The questions in the objective section are with multiple choices and contains assertion and reasoning, true or false statements etc. There are no alternatives in the paper for any section. The paper contains diagram based questions and candidates should have a good knowledge of it.

Questions asked are such as short notes in Anatomy and Physiology, Development of tongue, Morphology of Mandibular first permanent molar, Melanin pigment, Kerb’s cycle, histology, Pathology, prognosis and management of oral oncology, Concepts of oral premalignancy, Karyo typing, Prostaglandins etc. Questions asked are further divided into sub-questions for the ease of students.

Total Marks and time allotted:

Maximum marks in the paper are 100 and time allotted is 3 hours only. Each question in the objective section is of 1 mark each and in subjective section; questions are of 20 marks each.
