The season of the entrance exam is somewhat over. The most awaited professional results were announced. Central Allotment Process

The Central Allotment Process, CAP, is processes where the students need to submit their desired choices from the given set of options. Here the students are asked to make two options. They have to select the suitable course and also the college. The students can have options and depends upon your rank your options many be accepted or rejected.

In the central allotment process, all students are admitted to the colleges according to their option and rank in the list. The students who scored top in the list will get his/her first choices. If you scored an average, then you may end up getting your fourth of fifth option.  But there is a good thing about the Kerala Engineering allotment process is, we have enough number of seats, so most of the students will get the admission, though it won’t be always your first preference.

There may be student who doesn’t have any particular interest in any field or subjects or yet they didn’t identify any. The options are not mean for them; they can select a course where they feel worth for study.

Selecting Your College

When it comes to college the main focus is on the fee structure. Since it is not possible for every student to get admission into the Government colleges, they have to think about the private colleges as well.  Your rank will open the door for the top institutes and colleges. You have to search for the list of colleges that is available for you with your obtained rank and your desired stream.

Most of the colleges are also stating their fee structure through the official forum. It may be tentative due to the uncertainty existing now. But it will be almost same as the last year’s, there won’t be large hike from the previous year’s fee. You can also consider your convenience to reach the place, while doing your college selection. You also need to consider the college’s placement records and the academic quality level. You can also talk to the student’s of the college to know about the environment and then only make the decision regarding the desired college.
