In fact, APGENCO is the third largest power utility in India producing a power of about 8174.9 MW. APGENCO was established on 29.12.1998 under the provisions of Companies Act. The company started its operations from 1.2.1999 under the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Reforms Act, 1998. APGENCO is the second highest Hydel capacity in India. Eligibility:

Age Criteria – The maximum age limit is 38 yrs. (Relaxable up to 5 yrs for Schedule Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class candidates and up to 10 yrs for PH candidates).

Educational qualification – The candidates must have done Diploma in any of the branches of engineering like Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering.

Selection Process:

The selection process is carried out purely on the basis of merit through written test, weightage of marks in academic qualification.

Application Fee:

The fee that includes both application registration fee and examination fee is Rs. 500 for OC candidates and Rs. 150 for PH/ SC/ ST/ BC candidates. The fee must be paid in any one of the A.P online centers or A.P Online Portal. The registration fee payment receipt with Journal number must be obtained before applying for the post online.
