University of Kashmir-Faculty of education Entrance Test- Education is taught in the institutes that provide a masters degree in education. One needs to clear the entrance examination in order to be eligible for the position in the university. One must know several areas of education from his or her bachelor degree in order to be able to clear the test.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in this exam

Candidates must have graduated from any of the recognized university to appear for this test. Final year candidates are also eligible to apply, but they have to show their certificate at the time of admission otherwise there candidature will be cancelled. Jammu and Kashmir candidates are given first preference.

The course is vital if you wish to be a professional in education in the near future. The test makes one well versed in the basics of the courses to come.

Format

The format of the paper is like any other paper of an entrance examination offered by Kashmir University. The paper has nearly 60 questions all of which are multiple choices. Out of 4 choices only one option is correct and if any candidate marks more than one option that answer will be considered wrong and no marks will be awarded.

Paper pattern

The paper covers chapters like Educational Sociology & Culture, Social Change, Social Problems, Theories of Learning, and Philosophy & Education: etc.

Marking

Marks are equal for each question and since all are multiple choice questions and need to be answered fast as the number of questions are large. For wrong answer 1/3 marks allotted for that question will be deducted from the total score of the candidate.

Time

The paper has to be completed by 2 hours.
