Veterinary Doctors, Specialist Medical officers, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission was established under the provisions of the Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The commission was constituted by the Governor of Uttarakhand. The strength of the commission is comprises of a Chairman and four other members. The commission fucntions as per the regulations of Uttarakhand Public Service commission Procedure and Conduct of Business Rule-2007. The main duty of the commission is to conduct examinations for making appointment to the services of the Union and the services of the states.
Job Profile:
Uttarakhand Public Service Commission is going to recruit eligible Indian Nationals on the following vacant positions of Veterinary Doctors and Specialist Medical officers. Number of vacancies may be increased or decreased depending on the requirment of the commission.
Eligibility:
Veterinary Doctors: Candidates should have age within the prescribed age limit. Candidates should have age more than 21 years but not more than 35 years.
Specialist Medical Officers: The age criteria is need to be fulfilled by the interested candidates. Candidates are required to have age more than 21 years but not more than the prescribed maximum age limit i.e. 40 years.
There may be age relaxation provided to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. The relaxation will be provided as per the rules of Government of India.
Educational Qualification:
Veterinary Doctors: Candidates must possess B.V.S.C and A.H. degree in Veterinary Science from a recognized institute or university.
Specialist Medical Officers: The minimum educational qualification required for the post is MBBS from a recognized institute or university.
No. of posts: Total 726 posts are available.
Veterinary Doctors: 143 posts are available.
Specialist Medical officers: 583 posts are available.
Pay Scale:
Veterinary Doctors: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Specialist Medical officers: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Application Fee:
All interested candidates are required to pay the prescribed amount of application fee before applying for any of the specified posts. The payment of application fee must be done through demand draft or Postal Order drawn in favour of Secretary, Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, Haridwar payable at Haridwar. Candidates must write their name and address at the backside of the demand draft or Indian Postal Order.
Amount of application fee for General and OBC candidates: Rs. 130 only.
Amount of application fee for SC/ST/PH candidates of Uttarakhand: Rs. 90 only.
