Bureau of Police Research and Development was established on August 28, 1970 under the Government of India. The headquarters of the bureau is located at New Delhi, India. Mr. Prasun Mukherjee is the Agency Executive of the bureau. The bureau comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
