Vivekananda College, Chennai
Vivekananda College was established to impart quality education to the students of commerce background. This college was inaugurated by Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan in 1946 and was named after Swami Vivekananda. The college is maintained and regulated in all the aspects by the Vivekananda Education Society which has several centers all over the country. The college offers ideal environment to the students to gain quality par knowledge. The college also provides all sorts of facilities to its students.
Campus:
For the construction area of this college the society members came forward and put their major contributions by donating land of 30 acres. Today the college stands in 60 acres of area and it has various blocks and labs. Various playgrounds for the students are also provided by the college.
Courses offered:
Vivekananda College offers several courses related to the fields of arts and science, under the Madras University. The college provides various under graduate, postgraduate courses to the candidates. The courses are B.Com, B.Sc., M.Sc. and M.Com.
Admission procedure:
Admission is based on the merit of 10+2 exams or its equivalent exams from any recognized university or board of India. The candidates have to collect a prospectus and application form in order to enroll their names for the various courses.

Vivekananda College provides well experienced faculty members to motivate each student to get involved in different professional and social activities. In order to provide them better knowledge about the industrial terms it has introduced several training programs.
