Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi
The Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is in Delhi and is one of the top business schools. It is affiliated to the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1987. It was an initiation of the UGC and Human Resource Ministry. The college is also known as the CBS.
Campus
The college has a huge building and has a very nice infrastructure to conduct the business studies for the students. The library of the college is air conditioned and is computerized one. There are more than 15000 books in the college library with more journals and magazines. The computer laboratories of the college have IBM and Compaq personal computers for the use of the students. There are printers and the whole campus is connected to the internet through the Wi-Fi. There are audio visual rooms and there is also transport facility.
Courses Offered
Basically the college has to offer four courses. They are the Bachelor of Business Studies, Bachelor of Financial and Investment Analysis, Bachelor of Science in the field of Computer Science and Post Graduate Diploma in Computer application. So the college offers management and Information Technology courses to the students.
Admission Procedure
On order to get admitted in to the college the candidate has to first fill in the forms and then there will be a written test conducted across the four major cities in India including Delhi and according to the basis of the marks obtained by the student the student will be admitted to the particular course of his choice. Then there are also group discussion and interviews of the selected students.
Placements
There is the placement cell of the college which brings in the companies like the Bank of India, ICICI and many other international companies also. The average pay package of the students were 5.6 lakhs per annum.
