Shaheed Udham Singh Institute of Computer Science came into existence in the year 2001 and it is a constituent unit of the SUS Group of Institutions. The institute is approved by the AICTE, Government of Punjab and it is affiliated to the Punjabi University located in Patiala.

Master of Computer Applications:

The duration of Master of Computer Applications course offered by the Shaheed Udham Singh Institute of Computer Science is three-years. For applying to this course, candidates must have completed their UG degree in any stream with mathematics as a subject at the higher secondary level or candidates with BCA graduation from a recognized institution are eligible to apply to this course. The approved intake capacity is 60 students per year for this course out of which 40 seats are filled through MET (common entrance examination at state-level) score and remaining 20 seats are management quota seats filled through direct admission. In the management quota seats, 5% of the seats are reserved for NRI candidates.

Master of Business Administration:

The duration of Master of Business Administration course offered by the Shaheed Udham Singh Institute of Computer Science is two years. For applying to this course, candidates must have completed their UG degree in any stream from a recognized institution. The approved intake capacity is 60 students per year for this course out of which 40 seats are filled through MET (common entrance examination at state-level) score and remaining 20 seats are management quota seats filled through direct admission. The training & placement cell at the Shaheed Udham Singh Institute of Computer Science is shortly called as TPC and this cell dedicated towards the objective of encouraging and enabling the students to develop their core skills for achievement of success in the field chosen by them.
