Directorate General Border Security Force was established on December 1, 1965. The headquarters of the Border Security Force is located in the state of Delhi. Mr. Raman Srivastava is the Director General of the force. The Border Security Force is a component of the paramilitary forces of India. The major objective of the force is to guard the international borders of the country during peacetime. The another major function of the force is to prevent transnational crime.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Constables (General Duty-GD) Group-C in Directorate General Border Security Force in various states.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be less than 18 years and not morethan 23 years of age ason 1 August 2010. There is relaxation for the reserved category candidates as per government rules.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should be atleast 12th passed for applying for the posts of Constables in Directorate General Border Security Force.
