Application Form of All India Pre- Veterinary Test
The All India Pre- Veterinary Test is carried out by the Indian Veterinary Council for the admission of candidates into the BV.Sc. & A.H. Courses.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are applying for this exam must have finished their 10+2 class. They must be atleast 17 years at the time of applying for the exam. The applicants must have learned Physics and Chemistry in addition to Biology and English subjects. Minimum 50 percent marks ought to be scored by the applicants. Candidates who belong to the backward communities ought to obtain atleast 40%marks. Those candidates who have completed their graduation in science with Physics and Biology along with Chemistry are also qualified to apply for this exam.
Application Procedure
Candidates can apply for the admission test by two methods. They are:
Online Application
Candidates can apply for this exam through the authorized website of the Council: http://www.vci-india.in. They should then download a copy of the application form. The completed form should be sent to the office of the Council in addition to a DD of the requisite amount. The necessary documents should be attached to the form.
Offline Application
Candidates can also acquire the application form and the prospectus either from the office of the Council or by post. Those candidates who wish to receive their form through post must send a request letter to The Controller of Examination, Veterinary Council of India, New Delhi. The filled up form should be sent along with a DD of Rs.800 (Rs. 400/- for ST/SC/OBC category) to the office of the Council. The DD should be payable at Delhi. The candidates must make sure that they provide their name, permanent address and contact number along with their Application No. on the backside of the Demand Draft before they post it.
Filling the application form
The Candidates ought to read the brochure before filling the form.
- The candidates’ should fill the form in English only.
- The candidates must fill the form only in capital letters.
- The candidates should use only black or blue pens when they fill the form.
- A recent photograph of the candidate should be pasted in the space provided.
- The candidate ought to provide their signature at the given space.
