Karmveer Hire Arts, Science, Commerce & Education College was established in the year 1957 by the Shri. Mouni Vidyapeeth located at Gargoti. As the name implies, the college is offering education under the faculties of arts, science, commerce and education under the affiliation of Shivaji University located at Kolhapur.

Activities at Karmveer Hire College:

With a view of improving social awareness among the students, the college is organization several activities like environmental awareness programs, superstition eradication, AIDS awareness, blood donation camps, medical camps, social service camps, etc…through slide shows, lectures, exhibition and rallies. The college is also arranging activities like seminars, discussions, elocution competitions and debate. NCC unit, NSS unit and cultural activities unit are also functioning under the college.

Physical Facilities at the college:

The college has separate hostels for girls and boys, which has a capacity to accommodate 197 girls and 110 boys respectively. The college also has a computer center with a capacity of 60 computers. The facilities at the college are gymnasium, auditorium, guesthouse, canteen, common rooms for teachers and students.

Library at Karmveer Hire College:

The library at Karmveer Hire College is situated in an area of 6400 square feet and the library includes facilities like reading room for students and staff members, multipurpose hall, computer room and reference room. There are also separate reading rooms for girls and boys.
