Advertising communication is a paper that all the MBA students of ICFAI have to appear for at the end of the first year of the course.  The question paper is divided into two sections. The first section is for 30 marks and the other for 50 marks. The total mark is 80 and the time allotted for the completion of the paper is two and a half hours. The questions are both objective and subjective.

Section A consists of 30 objective questions, each carrying a mark. There are no negative marks for wrong answers. Section B consists of 9 descriptive questions. The candidate has to answer all the questions from sections A and B. All the objective questions are provided with five answers. Only one of them is correct and the candidate has to fill the answer in an OMR sheet that is provided separately.

The mark that is allotted for each descriptive question is different and depends on the length of the answer. There are both short type and long type answer question in the second section some questions in the subjective questions will be sub divided.
