Railway Recruitment Cell, Eastern Railway is headed by Dy. CPO (recruitment). One Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment) assists the Dy. CPO in his activities. The Railway Recruitment Cell, Easter Railway actually came into existence afterthe Ministry of Railway’s (Raiwlay Board) delegated powers for Recruitment to Group D post to General managers. The major function performed by the cell or the major responsibility of the cell is to make recruitment to all Group D posts available in Eastern railways and other units which comes under its jurisdiction. The cell has various divisions at Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol and Malda.

Age Limit:

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should possess 10th pass or ITI or equivalent.
