The Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) was brought about in the year 2003 by the Indian Government along with the Ministry of Human Resource Development and is specialized in and acclaimed for its Medical Science Courses offered in a way that could eventually be helpful and an asset to the society. It soon became awarded to be a deemed University as per the regulations of University Grants Commission.

The Common Entrance Test conducted by the PIMS is at an All India Level. It’s a healthy competition where the aspirants present their skills to earn an admission for a Bachelor’s Degree Course in Medical and Dental Sciences (MBBS & BDS respectively).

Structure of PIMS AICET UG

The 3 hour long examination has a well prepared question paper with 200 questions each having many options for one correct answer. 100 of these questions will be from the subject Biology. The rest’s each half will be from Physics and Chemistry. Each of the total questions has a value of 1 mark. Apparently, the AICET doesn’t follow the mark deduction policy for wrong answers.
