Eligibility for Admission:

For the diploma in music course offered by Tecnia Institute of Art & Design, children who have completed their class three are eligible for admission. For all other courses except Master of fine arts, candidates must have completed their higher secondary examination in any stream of education. As far as Master of Fine Arts course is concerned, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts.

Certificate courses offered by the institution from IGNOU:

The institute is offering one-year and six-month certificate course in performing and visual arts and the subjects covered are sculpture, painting and applied arts.

Age limit and seat limit for admission:

For admission of male candidates certain upper age limit is followed by the institution and they are for B. Animation, Diploma in art appreciation and Bachelor of Arts/fine arts it is 24 years, for Bachelor of Music/Dance, the upper age limit for male candidates is 27 years. The college does not follow any upper age limit for female candidates for any of the courses. For the admission to the music course, there is no age limit. For the male candidates belonging to SC/ST category, age relaxation of three years will be allowed.
