The third year Bachelors’ in Science papers of the University of Delhi have in sum six papers. All papers except the organic chemistry one are of 75 marks and have to be written in three hours. The Organic Chemistry paper is a 50 marks paper to be answered in two hours. There are two sections in the paper. Either five or six questions have to be answered compulsorily in each subject. Question no. 1 may or may not be a compulsory one. Make sure to read the instructions on the question paper properly because there is always a mention of assigned marks and the number of questions to be answered.

Make sure to answer all questions on a separate answer sheet. Each section should be written on a fresh page. Support all your answers with the relevant examples, case studies, diagrams and equations wherever necessary. Understand that these too contain marks and are important to be written. Learn to answer questions according to the marks allotted to them. Write detailed long answers for questions with more marks. You must learn to edit your answers with respect to the demands of the question.
