Job Profile:
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) Salem Steel Plant (SSP) invites application from eligible candidates for Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee position.
No. of posts: Total number of positions is 96 and this number is divided as follows: ITI (Fitter) - 40; ITI (Electrician) - 26, ITI (Machinist) – 30
Pay Scale – Rs. 6600 during first year, Rs. 7700 during second year. after successful training, the salary is Rs. 8630-3%-12080
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs. The maximum age limit is 28 yrs (General), 33 yrs (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe), 31 yrs (Other Backward Caste), 38 yrs (Physically Handicapped), 35 yrs (Disabled persons), and relaxable as per rules for Ex-servicemen.
Educational qualification – The candidates must have done Senior School Leaving Certificate examination/ Higher Secondary + ITI in relevant trade or discipline with at least 60 % marks (50% for SC/ST).
Selection Process:
The selection process will be through interview and merit.
