Food Corporation of India was resulted under the Food Corporation Act 1964. The major functionality of the corporation includes the food security. The corporation wroks on its primary aim of taking active part in the price support operations for safeguarding the interest of farmers. Distribution of food grains throughout the country for public distribution system is another functiosn performed by the corporation. And last but not the least, preserving enough level of operational and buffer stocks of food grains, is also one of the prime motive of the corporation.

Job Profile:

Food Corporation of India invites online applications from the indian nationals, who are eligible for the following posts of Management Trainees, in its different offices spreaded in all over india. The offices are spreaded according to the diffeent regions.

Post available in the North Zone:

1. Recruitment of Management Trainee:
No. of posts: 300 posts (Depot-83, Accounts-51, General-160 and Movement-6).
Age Limit: 28 years is the maximum age limit.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500 per month.

Post available in the South Zone:

2. Recruitment of Management Trainee:
No. of posts: 59 posts (Depot-21 and Accounts-38).
Age Limit: 28 years is the maximum age limit.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500 per month.

Post available in the East Zone:

3. Recruitment of Management Trainee:
No. of posts: 99 posts (Depot-13, General-72and Accounts-14).
Age Limit: 28 years is the maximum age limit.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500 per month.

4. Recruitment of Management Trainee:
No. of posts: 115 posts (Depot-54, General-46 and Accounts-15).
Age Limit: 28 years is the maximum age limit.
Pay Scale: Rs. 16400-40500 per month.

5. Recruitment of Management Trainee:
No. of posts: 33 posts (Depot-2, General-20 and Accounts-11).
Age Limit: 28 years is the maximum age limit.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 300. The application fee must be made by the means of a Demand Draft only. The DD must be made in favour of Food Corporation of India payable at Noida for North Zone, Chennai for South Zone, Kolkata for East Zone, Mumbai for West Zone and Guwahati for North East Zone. This application fee is to be paid by General category candidates only and not by any reserved category candidates.

Selection Process:

For the post of Management Trainee in all the above specified zones, the selection of candidates will be made strictly on the basis of a written examination. Written examination in each zone will be held on different date in the month of April and May 2011.

How to apply: Candidates must apply online only at FCI website. Candidates should also take out the printout of the filled in application form. This application form (after affixing photograph on it and putting signatura eon specified places) should be sent alongwth the Demand Draft and photocopies of certificates to the respective address depending on their zone.
