Wainaganga Krishna Gramin Bank came into existence in the year 2008. The bank was started by amalgamating three RRBs. The main objective of the bank is to offer service to the people belonging to the rural areas of the state. The bank provides extensive banking service in twelve districts of Maharashtra using computerized branches. The bank is sponsored by the Bank of India. The bank offers timely financial help for agriculture, trade, commerce, industry and other employment activities. The bank has 174 branches and 4 extension counters. The bank has 50 % share contributed by Government of India, 15% share contributed by Government of Maharashtra and 35% share contributed by Bank of India.

Pay Scale – Rs. 7200 - 19300 with total emoluments of Rs. 12256 per month + DA & HRA

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The lower age eligibility is 18 years and higher age eligibility is 28 years and this can be relaxed as per rules.

Educational qualification – Candidates must have done Bachelor degree or its equivalent in any   discipline. Proficiency in Marathi is an essential requirement. Knowledge of computers is preferred.
