Tamizhan College of Engineering and Technology was founded in 2008 and is sponsored by Ponkasi Uthayam Eduational & Charitable Trust. The college holds a beautiful landscape of 24 acres and is architecturally well designed. This college is affiliated to Anna University, Tirunelveli. On the whole, the atmosphere is serene and peaceful located 15 km from Nagercoil and is situated at Chenbagaramanputhoor. This institution is an ISO certified organization.

Vision:

The primary vision of this college is to impart good quality education in the stream of engineering and to provide ample training for improving the skills on technology and to build the students into responsible social citizen. The college strives for the uplift of economically backward classes and students belonging to rural areas. Admission:

The Admission to any stream of study and Selection criteria is dependant on Anna University, Tirunelveli. The selection is based on the Tamilnadu Engineering Admission rules and 80% of the seats are allotted and filled as per the norms of University. Balance seats are filled up based on the merit list of marks of the students.
