Rathnavel Subramaniam College of Arts and Science is an autonomous self financing college affiliated to Bharathiyar University. It was established in the year 1986 and is situated very near to Coimbatore – Tiruchy highway at Sulur. It is one of the best self financing colleges that exist in Coimbatore city which holds best student strength and diversified academic programs with highly experienced faculty. The college has been accredited with NAAC and was granted ‘autonomy’ status in 2004.

The college is located in a huge campus which started with only 80 students in the beginning. Now it holds over 2500 students with 130 teaching staff. The college provides all the basic amenities necessary for students in reasonable manner. This institute not only holds Indian students but also students from Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Omen prefer this college suitable due to its reputation.

Admission:

Admission to all the UG courses are based on the marks obtained in higher secondary examination by the students. Provisional admission is granted which will be confirmed after payment of tuition fees. Students belonging to states other than Tamilnadu should obtain a recognition certificate from University of Madras.

Placement:

The placement cell of this college conducts Campus Placements Mela with leading organizations in Tamilnadu. Several companies participate in the gathering to select suitable candidates with potential and marks. The cell also provides training to develop the personality and communication skills of the students. In 2008-2009 alone around 60 students from this college have been absorbed in various companies like Infosys, TCS, Reliance Life, ICICI, Bank of America, Mphasis and CTS.
