Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank was established on 26.3.2008 by the Government of India. The Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank was sponsored by the Indian Bank. The bank was inaugurated on 01.6.2008 by Mr. P. Chidambaram, Hon`ble Union Minister of Finance.

The bank was granted the scheduled status by the Reserve Bank of India. The bank operates all over the Union Territory of Puducherry covering all the four regions, namely Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe & Yanam.

Job Profile:

Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank  invites application from eligible persons for the post of Assistant Manager and Office Assistant-Multipurpose (Clerical Cadre).

No. of posts: Assistant Manager – 10; Office Assistant-Multipurpose (Clerical Cadre) - 10

Pay Scale – Assistant Manager - Rs. 14500 – 25700; Office Assistant-Multipurpose (Clerical Cadre) - Rs. 7200 – 19300

Eligibility:

Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 28 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have specific educational qualification for each post. For complete details about the educational qualification for each post refer the bank’s website. Proficiency in Tamil language is essential for both the posts. Knowledge of computer is desirable for both the posts.

Selection Process:

The selection for the post is through written test and interview.
