Maharashtra Gramin Bank was established in the year 2009 after merging Aurangabad Jalna Gramin Bank, Thane Gramin Bank and Marathwada Gramin Bank. The Bank is sponsored by Govt. of India, Govt. of Maharashtra and Bank of Maharashtra.
The bank includes six regional offices and 327 branches. The bank operates in 16 districts of Maharashtra covering Nanded, Latur, Beed, Osmanabad, Parbhani, Hingoli, Aurangabad, Jalna, Pune, Thane, Jalgaon, Ahmednagar, Nasik, Dhule, Nandurbar & Raigad. The head office of the bank is located at Nanded district of Maharashtra.
Job Profile:
Maharashtra Gramin Bank invites application from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Office Assistants.

Pay Scale – Rs. 7200 – 19300 with total starting emolument of Rs. 12200 per month + other allowances as per rules of the Bank.
Eligibility:
Age criteria – The minimum age limit is 18 yrs and the maximum age limit is 28 yrs (Relaxable as per rules).
Educational Qualification – The candidates must be a Indian citizen with a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline or its equivalent from any recognized University. They must be proficient in Marathi language. Knowledge in computer is desirable.

Application fee of Rs. 400 (Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates) must be paid by directly crediting the amount in any of branch of the Bank of Maharashtra through fee payment challan that can be downloaded from the Bank’s website from 16-03-2011 to 05-04-2011. For more details refer the bank’s website.
