College of Teacher Education Tinsukia was set up in the year 1993. The college is situated in Tinsukia district of the State of Assam. The primary objective of the college is to provide educational development in the region of Tinsukia district of Assam by offering trained manpower to the teaching profession. The college is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi during the year 2002.
