Northeast Frontier Railway has five divisions and each of these divisions is headed by a Divisional Railway Manager. North East Frontier Railway has been operating from the year 1958 and it is shortly called as NFR.

Recruitment by North East Frontier Railway:

North East Frontier Railway is planning for recruitment of Para medical staff on contract basis against vacancies existing in para-medical category of Northeast Frontier Railway, Maligaon and its divisions through walk-in-interview. The vacancies are going to be filled on contract basis and here are the details regarding the notification issued in this regard:

Name of the Vacancy : Pharmacist III

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 12, which is divided among the different divisions of North East Frontier Railway as follows:

o Alipurduar Division – 02 (OBC-01, UR-01)

o Lumding Division – 03 (OBC-01, UR-02)

o Rangiya Division – 01 (UR)

o Katihar Division – 02 (UR)

o Tinsukia Division – 04 (SC-01, OBC-01, UR-02)

Remuneration: Being a contracted position, candidates appointed for the position of Pharmacist III will be getting a monthly remuneration of Rs.10160/- per month.

Eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 in Science or its equivalent qualification with two years diploma in pharmacy and they should have registered with pharmacy council of India or state pharmacy council.

Age: For the position of Pharmacist III, candidates must be between the age group of 20 and 35 years as on the 1st of January 2011. Upper age relaxation of five years and three years is applicable for SC/ST and OBC candidates respectively.
