Lord Krishna College of Education came into existence from the academic year 2005-2006 and the college is offering education in the faculty of education with approval from the National Council of Teacher Education and with affiliation from Guru Nanak Dev University located in Amritsar.

Course Details:

As mentioned earlier, Lord Krishna College of Education is offering teacher-education course and the name of the course offered by the college is Bachelor of Education. The duration of the course is one-year and the college is permitted to admit 100 students per year for this course.

Five main elements of the B. Ed course offered by Lord Krishna College of Education:

The Bachelor of Education course offered by the college includes five main elements being teaching practice, selected studies, directed studies, curriculum studies and teaching for learning. It involves the students in interactive process with teachers and lecturers as they can work on the practical and theory papers of learning and teaching.

Admission procedure:

Admission of students to the Bachelor of Education course offered by Lord Krishna College of Education shall be strictly made in accordance with the guidelines and rules framed by the Guru Nanak Dev University and Government of Punjab from time to time. In addition, every year admission of students to the Bachelor of Education course is done based on the B. Ed entrance test conducted by the University of Patiala or Guru Nanak Dev University or Punjab University or based on the marks secured by the students in the B. Ed entrance examination conducted by the any other competent authority as directed by the Government of Punjab.

Fee Structure and mode of payment:

Students admitted to the B. Ed course based on their entrance examination score will have to pay the fee as prescribed by the college with guidelines provided by the Guru Nanak Dev University and Government of Punjab. The prescribed fee will have to be paid by the candidates in the form of DD/Cheque/cash payable at Lord Krishna College of Education, Sultanpur Lodhi.

The campus of the college is well-equipped with a wide range of educational facilities like science lab, psychology lab, computer lab and art room for offering practical training to the students in these subjects.
