Oxford College located in Gwalior came into existence recently in the year 2007 and the college was established with the objective of offering world-class education to its students. The college offers education in fields like information sciences, library, management and computer applications with affiliation from the Jiwaji University located in the city of Gwalior.

Oxford College is offering the following courses with affiliation from the Jiwaji University:

UG Courses:

• Bachelor of Business Administration

• Bachelor of Computer Applications

• Bachelor of Library & Information Sciences

PG Courses:

• Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications

• Master of Library & Information Sciences

Eligibility requirement:

BBA/BCA: To apply to these courses, candidates must have completed their higher secondary 10+2 with not less than 50% of aggregate marks from a recognized board of education. Even candidates waiting for their results can apply and their admission will be provisional until they submit the course completion certificate of class 12 examination before the date specified by the college. If they fail to produce the required certificate, their admission will remain cancelled and they will not be refunded the fee paid by them.

B. Lib & I. Sc: For this course, candidates must have completed their UG or PG course in any discipline with not less than 50% of marks and highest marks secured by the candidate either in the UG or in PG course will be considered for admission.

PGDCA: To apply to this course, candidates must be graduates in any stream of education

M. Lib & I. Sc: For this course, candidates must have completed their B. Lib & I. Sc from a recognized university with not less than 50% of aggregate marks. Even candidates with PG Diploma in library science can apply to this course, if they have secured not less than 50% of aggregate marks.

Admission Procedure and intake capacity:

Admission of students to the different courses offered by the Oxford College will be done based on the merit secured by the students in the qualifying examination. The list of selected candidates for each of the courses will be published in the notice board of the college. Oxford College is permitted to admit 30 students each for B. Lib & I. Sc and M. Lib & I. Sc course, while for the other courses it is 60 students per year. The duration of library courses and PGDCA is one year, while for BCA and BBA it is three years.
