Master of dental surgery in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics is the master degree in dentistry. This branch is associated with the conservation and treatment of tooth and tissue surrounded it. The dental problems are cured in this branch.

Paper Pattern:

The paper of Endodontics is a subjective paper and contains objective questions also. The paper requires a good command over this subject to cope with it. The total number of questions in this paper is 5, 1st question is objective part and contains 20 questions with multiple choices. The last 4 questions are of long answer type questions and have sub-questions in it. However the last question of the paper is of short notes. There is no option of alternate questions, so every question has to be attempted.

The questions asked in the paper are of subjective as well as objective type. The questions asked are such as Endodontics cure, Endodontics therapy, thesis related to Endodontics, dental surgery, dental problems and its root, etc. The paper also contains short notes on definitions of different Endodontics related terms. Questions of long answer type questions are required to be solved within its word limits and objective section is to be answered in one word.

Total marks and time allotted:

Maximum marks allotted to the paper are 100 and time allotted for the paper is 3 hours. The paper is to be solved in two parts, objective section is of 20 marks and needed to be solved within 20 minutes and subjective section is to be solved within 2 hours and 40 minutes.
