National Institute of Technologym, Warangal has an urban campus which is spreaded over an area of 256 acres. Dr. T. Srinivasa Rao is the Director of the institute. The institute is actually a recognized education and research institution which came into existence in the year 1959. The institute has an academic staff of total 176 personnel. The institute offers both undergraduate as well as post graduate courses to its students. Initially, the institute was known as Regional Engineering College, Warangal. The institute was founded by the then Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

Job Profile:

Eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the following faculty positions of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Registrar in National Institute of Technology. All the eligible candidates will be recruited in various departments of the Institute.

1. Recruitment of Professor:
No. of posts: Only 21 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 45 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree level in concerned discipline. Atleast 10 years of research or training experience is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

2. Recruitment of Associate Professor:
No. of posts: Only 34 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree level in concerned discipline. Atleast 6 years of research or training experience is required.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 9000.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Professor:
No. of posts: Only 52 posts are available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 36 years.
Educational Qualification: Ph.D. with atleast 60% marks in aggregate at Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree level in concerned discipline.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 7000.

4. Recruitment of Registrar:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 55 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Candidates should also possess atleast 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 10000.

Rs. 400 is the amount of application fee for all interested candidates except SC/ST candidates. Rs. 200 is the amount of application fee for the candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
