hi,
NIT that is also known as as NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.
It is a govt. institue.
In each state their is one NIT.

THEIR ARE TOTAL 5306 SEAT IN NITs

For admissions in NIT through AIEEE you should have minimum 19000-20000 rank.
After that you get the admissions NIT.


ALL THE BEST!

There are approximately 26 thousand seats In NIT's.
To get a branch of your choice it is better to have rank inside 12 thousand.
And remember , seat availability of your choice depends on preferences of students having higher rank then you.

The total number of seats available in all NITs as per the last year records is 16349.If you want to get into NITs ,you should score 180+. Then you can select your dream branch of engineering and dream NIT.

the saeats in nits are around 15000
they are fine govt engg colleges and require a rank of below 10000 in aieee for geting nice nits.
