Smt. Narayani Devi Verma Womens Teacher’s Training College shortly called as S.N.D.V.W.T.T College came into existence in the year 1984 with affiliation from the Rajasthan University. The college began its journey with an intake capacity of 120 students per year for the Bachelor of Education courses, while after one-year science faculty subjects were also introduced in the B. Ed course. The present intake capacity of the college is 160 students for arts and science faculty courses. The college is presently affiliated to the Maharishi Dayanand Sarawati University located in Ajmer.

Admission Procedure and eligibility requirement:

Admission of students to the B. Ed course offered by the S.B.D.V.W.T.T. College is done based on the performance of the students in the Pre-Teacher’s Education Test. The minimum eligibility requirement to seek admission to this course is that general category candidates must have secured not less than 50% of marks either at the graduation or at the post graduation level. The minimum percentage of marks required for SC/ST, handicapped and OBC candidates is 45% and for widows and divorced women is 41%.

College library:

Library at S.N.D.V.W.T.T. College acts as a reflection to the culture and ethos of the institution with a collection of nearly 8500 books pertaining to B. Ed course. There are also dictionaries, encyclopedias and recent books pertaining to the methodological and pedagogical areas of teacher education. The library follows open access system and book bank facility is offered to poor meritorious students, which should be returned by the students after completion of the university examination.
