Re: Can I do B.Ed after B.Tech?
Well, theoretically it is possible!
But, question is why? Please recollect why you chose B Tech in the first place and now why are you thinking of BEd. If you are actually interested in teaching Engg subjects, for which you might have developed aptitude now, you should join MTech through GATE exam. Else, you should look for a job suiting your degree and your interest. By doing BEd, you are not going to do any value addition to your BTech. |

Dear , Seems you are at a confusing level , first think why you did B. Tech reason would be to get technical Education. Now as you are upto B Ed. again why reason would be you are interested in teaching sector. The same level in Technical Education you should pursue in my opinion. Why not go for M. Tech lets go and crack GATE. It would be more happening. Best Luck |

Re: Can I do B.Ed after B.Tech?
Yes you can do B.Ed after completing B.Tech but should you do it? The answer is big no. Why are you diverting from good career path and shifting towards Bachelors in Education. Most of the B.Tech students do not go for the B.Ed course. I would advise you to do the same. The basic requirement of B.Ed admission is graduation degree with at least 55 percent marks.
Firstly there is no need to do B.Ed after B.Tech because the Engineering course itself would get you a very good job. You can work in Public Sector Undertakings or private sector. There is also an option to apply for IES, IAS, IPS etc jobs in central government. These jobs would offer much better salary comparing to teaching job after B.Ed. I can't really understand the logic behind going for B.Ed course. If teaching was your passion or something you like then why did you applied for B.Tech in the first place. You could have completed B.Ed after B.A./B.Com/B.Sc etc. There was no need to waste 4 precious years and lakhs of rupee in Engineering course. Therefore I would strongly recommend against going for the B.Ed course. If you really are interested in teaching then you should apply for lecturer job in some Engineering college. There are various private colleges in India that would hire you as lecturer if you have scored around 60 percent in B.Tech course. But if you are looking for government job then I would suggest that you go for post graduate course and then apply for NET entrance exam. National Eligibility Test is to apply for lecturer job in central government colleges. You need a post graduate degree with at least 55 percent marks in case of general and 50 percent marks for SC/ST to appear in National Eligibility Test. If selected, you would get a lecturer job in central government colleges. But again teaching is not something I would recommend to a B.Tech graduate. It is better to find jobs in your field. Apply for PSU or private jobs instead of pursuing teaching. |

Re: Can I do B.Ed after B.Tech?
hi friend
this is right that the b.tech student can do the b.ed course. only the computer science student are eligible for this course, because the computer science students moves for the lectures ship in these days. the bca and the b.sc students are also eligible for this course. you have to fight the entrance exam for TET. you can do this course in any age, so there is no any age limit. so you can do this course after the graduation for any stream. if you get the best rank then you will get the govt college of the b.ed. this will be very beneficial for you. your prospects for be a teacher will be very good. so best of luck |

Re: Can I do B.Ed after B.Tech?
It is absolutely possible to do B.Ed after B.tech.
Admission depends on your graduation percentage. I suggest you to look for other options also: 1. Directly go in for an MBA If you want to, you can go in for a MBA directly after the completion of the graduation. For this you will need to first appear for all the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP etc so that you can get admission in a reputed college. It was one of the option if you have doubts related to question after BTech what can I do. 2. Specialize in your field of study In case you are not interested in doing an MBA, you can go in for an M.Tech, and specialize in the field of study that you chose for your graduation. For this also, you will need to start preparing for the exams well in advance. 3. Get selected in the campus interviews In case you do not want to pursue higher education then you have the option of getting into a company soon after your graduation and for this you need not go around looking for a job as there are many companies that will be coming for campus recruitment to your college. 4. Pick up a diploma course in an area of your interest After you have done your B.Tech you can now go in for a diploma course in something that you like, it can be painting, music, writing or anything else that you want to pursue. 5. Appear for the Civil services exams This is a great option for those who have thought like after BTech what can I do and want to be a part of the administration and after the completion of your graduation you can give your complete attention to the preparation of the UPSC examinations that are very tough and need a lot of focus. 6. Try journalism This is a great option after completing your graduation. There are many reputed colleges in the country for journalism and you can join any of them after clearing the entrance exam. Make sure that you have the language and other personal qualities before you go in for journalism. 7. Set up your own business If you do not want to go in for further studies or for that matter work as an employee in anyone else's company you can set up a business of your own and work by yourself or in partnership. 8. Try to be an actor or go in for modeling This may not sound like a practical idea but in case you do have the looks to be a model or the talent to become an actor then you can try for either of them and if your luck is good, you might be the next big star. 9. Go in for animation There are many animation courses that are available and you just need to join them and as it is an interesting field of study. You are sure to enjoy the course and later you can take it up professionally. 10. Go abroad and study It is also a good option and you will get global exposure in case you choose to study abroad. Also, you will be able to pick up a job while you are studying there and might also want to permanently settle there in the future. |

Re: Can I do B.Ed after B.Tech?
Hai dude.... Different universities have different eligibility criteria but the primary eligibility is A graduate from any recognized university as B.tech is a proper graduation degree so you are eligible but why do you want to do B.Ed after your B.ed if you are interested in teaching profession then you can go for M.Tech and after that P.hD that will give a you a better pay package than B.Ed for M.Tech you have to give GATE entrance exam or some university conduct their own entrance exam Wish you all the best. |

One needs mental peace as well. \corporate life is not easy and on top of that for Women with kids theer are ruthless, unemotional people here .dirty politics etc etc.. |
